Life Satisfaction and Resilience

Universitad Autònoma de Barcelona researchers posit that an individual’s capability to bounce back from stress and adversity, their resilience, has a predictive effect on their levels of satisfaction with life.

The good news is that resilience is not an inbuilt or innate characteristic, rather it is a skill that can be developed and improved.  It is therefore something that bipolar sufferers can work on to improve our quality of life and to help ameliorate the worst excesses of our condition.
